about Zak

Artist & Animator

Zak doesn’t really like to talk about himself,
so let me tell you about him.

Zak recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in animation after earning his master’s degree at RIT.

His master’s thesis was an animation about demons being summoned to crash a punk rock party. Check out Partygeddon!

Cape Crud

Not your typical Cape Codder,

Zak grew up skateboarding,
playing loud music,
and making weird videos.

Check out his series of post cards from home!

Secret Awesome

Secret Awesome is the headquarters of Zak’s personal and collaborative works.

He creates most, if not all of the artwork and is a key contributor to all of the videos.

He’s also a founding member of:
Pond Scum, Lord Scum, and Diamond Guts

Here are some Secret Awesome posters, flyers, and other stuff that Zak has designed.

Zak is one of the best dudes I know.

Tomb Defilers

The tomb of Roknar, The Inebriated, is said to be filled with great spoils.

Will the Tomb Defilers find bountiful treasure or will they be thwarted by the traps and tricks of the tomb?

Read the comic to find out!

Rat Bashers
Questing Club

Series Concept

A hapless trio of burnouts purchase a cursed role-playing game and unwittingly perform a dark ritual that transforms their world.

Now their money’s no good and they’ll have to get gold through freelance quests like bashing rats and finding a lost cat.

When that doesn’t pay, they try to run their own monster extermination business.

Turns out that sucks, too.

Should they just sell out and join the evil Warlock’s goon squad???
